The purpose of the present study was to examine the effect of Surya Namaskar, Pranayama, and Meditation on selected physiological variabIes, namely systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure, of state-level female arm wrestlers. A total of 200 female arm wrestlers nged 19—25 years were selected and randomly divided into two groups: Experimental Group (E-YOG, n=100) and Control Group (C-CONTROL, n=l00). The experimental gmup underwent an 6 months yogic training program including Surya Namaskar, Pranayama, and Meditation, while the contml group continued their regular routine without yogic intervention. Pre-test and post-test measurements were taken using a sphygmomanometer. Statistical analysis using mean, standard deviation, and t-test revealed a significant reduction in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the experimental group. The study concluded that yogic practices are effective in regulating blood pressure and improving cardiovascular efficiency in female arm wrestlers.
